Restore spinal stability and reduce vertebral pain with minimally invasive vertebroplasty.
What Is Vertebroplasty?
Vertebroplasty is a minimally invasive procedure designed to treat vertebral compression fractures by stabilizing the bone from the inside out. These types of fractures are often due to osteoporosis but may also occur as a result of trauma or tumors affecting the spine. Left untreated, compression fractures can cause significant back pain, spinal deformity, and limited mobility.
During the procedure, orthopedic cement is injected into the fractured vertebra to strengthen the bone and stop further collapse. Vertebroplasty is especially effective when performed early, typically within weeks of the initial fracture.
